MANAGING PARTNER- CHIEF J. OPONE – FCA
Chief Johnson Opone is the managing partner of the company since inception of the firm in 1988. He is a fellow of the Institute of chartered accountants of Nigeria. He was made an associate in January 1985. He served his article ship with Aluko Joseph Beadle & Co ( Chartered Accountants ) a member firm of Moore Rowland International.
He attended London school of Accountancy between 1982 and 1983 for his ACCA. He joined Adetuwo Ogunjumelo & Co (Chartered Accountants) in September 1983 and was seconded to ATSN (Nig) Ltd in October , 1983 as Accountant /Company Secretary .
As a seasoned practitioner he handled various assignments in his capacity as a partner. Namely ; National Electric Power Authority, National Universities Commission, University of Calabar, Nigerian Ports Authority, Bida Agricultural Development Project, A World Bank Assisted Project. In addition he was involved in external audit and investigations for certain Federal Government Agencies in Canada, USA and United Kingdom.
In addition, he has also superintended various assignments for public quoted companies as reporting accountant and external auditor. He has delivered several papers in the field of accountancy to public organizations and private institutions.
